Special Olympics Maryland Howard County offers year-round training and competition in 21 olympic-type sports to all persons eight years of age and older with an intellectual disability. Special Olympics depends heavily on our corporate sponsors to help support our programs. Our program serves over 500 athletes in over a dozen sports, and that obviously requires a substantial financial investment.
